Grounds Cycle Centres (GCC) complies with the Consumer Rights Act of 2015 you have an early right to reject goods that are unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described, and get a full refund.
This is the minimum we will do to ensure your experience with GCC is a pleasant one, these terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Distance Selling Regulations give you the right to return any unwanted goods (with some exceptions) within fourteen days of receiving them providing they are unused and in their original packaging.
All orders placed online are held on our secure server and are encrypted by AlphaSSL.
Once your order is placed, we will email confirmation of the details of your order and keep you informed of the progress of your order by email and/or telephone.
When acknowledgement of your order is received, this indicates that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. Your order constitutes an offer to GCC to buy goods. All orders are subject to acceptance by GCC. We will confirm acceptance by sending you an email that confirms all of the relevant details of the order. The contract between GCC and you will only be formed when we send you the order confirmation.
We work to ensure represented stock is available. If items ordered become unavailable, we will contact you to suggest an appropriate alternative. If no suitable alternative is available, we will cancel the order.
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:
We shall accept no liability in respect of any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control.
We reserve the right to ask for further information regarding the cardholder’s name, address and contact details. If this information is not forthcoming, GCC may choose not to proceed with the order. We reserve this right to protect both you and other bona fide customers.

Any incorrectly ordered purchases which have been invoiced but need refunding will incur an admin charge.
All pre-orders and deposits are non refundable.
Specific parts for upgrades must be paid for at time of ordering in full. Other ordered parts, not paid for, remain the property of GCC until payment is received.
Restocking charges may be applied to bikes or parts specially ordered and then returned.
Delivery dates may change and you will be notified if this is the case. You will then have the chance to agree to the new delivery date or have a full refund. If you have agreed to the new delivery date then you are agreeing to the terms and conditions and the deposit becomes non refundable once again.
If you have purchased a custom build and we have started assembling your bike or have ordered parts in, then we are unable to refund you.
If you have purchased a frame and built it and decided it is the wrong size, we are unable to offer a refund. Please make sure you check the geometry first to make sure it is the right size.

We usually dispatch in stock items within 2 working days (Monday – Friday). Where we obtain products to order for you then this can take from 3-7 days. We will notify you if there are going to be significant delays so that you can change or cancel your order if necessary. Please note that circumstances beyond our control may also impact delivery estimates.
All service work is guaranteed for 3 months from the date of repair invoice to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. Any product that is returned within this period and is found to be defective will be repaired free of charge. This guarantee does not apply to products that have not been properly maintained, fitted, adjusted correctly or misused. Nor does it cover product/component failure or wear and tear.
GCC retains the right to sell, as fair compensation, bikes (or their component parts) left for service work, which remain unpaid for and uncollected, after a period of 30 days from when the work is recorded as complete and the customer receives initial notification of this.
Please ensure operation of your fork or shock is checked within the warranty period as we cannot repair a product which is not operating as you would wish once outside of the three month warranty.
We offer Click &Collect from all of our Cycle Centre and Café Locations.
For items in stock at the chosen collection store, we will have your item ready to collect within 1-2 working days.
For items which are at another store your order will be ready to collect within 6 working days.
We will contact you and arrange a collection appointment. Some bikes go through a PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) delivered by one of our Cytech accredited mechanics, this means that getting your bike ready for collection may take a little longer .

Once your order arrives in store, you will have up to 10 days to collect your order (unless otherwise instructed). If uncollected, your order will be cancelled and you will be refunded within 28 days.
For security reasons designed to protect customers, only you can collect your order.
We amend these Terms from time to time. Please revisit these pages on a regular basis.
Whilst every effort is taken to ensure our prices are correct, we reserve the right to amend or correct prices where necessary.
All advertised prices include VAT at the standard UK rate (currently 20%) unless otherwise stated.
Grounds issues no warranties on bikes or bike parts. For all goods supplied please refer to the manufacturers warranty, contained in the new owners handbook (for bikes), or the individual manufacturers website. Should a product fail within its guarantee period due to a manufacturing defect, you must return it to us for inspection in the first instance. This is invalidated should if you or a third party carry out any remedial action without our prior authorisation.
Compatibility of products is not guaranteed. Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Goods are only supplied for intended use, GCC cannot accept responsibility for any item or product used out-with its intended use or for use in competition.
We reserve the right to make good any item returned to us for warranty, where this is not possible we may on occasion choose to offer a full refund or replace with a similar or equivalent product.
Return your order unused within 14 days for a refund if you no longer require it, as long as it is returned with its original packaging and is unused, undamaged and unmarked.
Returns cannot be made of products which have been built to your specific or custom requirements (including custom bike builds, optional upgrades added to your order which are not part of the standard build).
In line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations, all faulty items will be replaced with the same item or equivalent. You have 30 days to return faulty goods and receive a full refund.
GCC encourage users of this website to post reviews, ask questions and upload images, as long as the content is not illegal, obscene, abusive, invasive of privacy, infringes copyright, or otherwise causes injury to third parties. GCC reserves the right to remove or edit any content if deemed necessary.

None of the content that you submit shall be subject to any obligation of confidence on the part of GCC, its agents, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners or third party service providers and their respective directors, officers and employees.

In the unlikely event that you need to complain about a product or a particular service please do so by writing to us at the address below. Please include full details of your complaint including dates and times of contact with us along with copies of any correspondence that we have sent you. If you are not entirely happy with your recent experience, please raise a complaint by contacting our Support & Cycle Team on email@example.com.
We aim to resolve your complaint as quickly as possible and if we are able to resolve your complaint within 14 days, we will send you a final response detailing our resolution. If we are unable to provide you with a final response at 14 days, we will send you a letter explaining the reason for delay and when we expect to issue you with a final response.
All complaints will be dealt with thoroughly, speedily, confidentially, objectively and sensitively.
Our suppliers reserve the right to change specifications and prices without notice. GCC will do all it can to maintain prices and specifications on this web site, however we do reserve the right to change specifications and prices without notice.
Similarly, it is realistic to expect the colour of any item bought to differ subtly from the image online.
Automated/bulk entries and entries from third parties will be disqualified.
